MASH-TAG 2025 Abstract Submissions

MASH-TAG 2025 welcomes submissions of your work on the management of and advancing therapeutics for metabolic associated steatohepatitis and hepatic fibrosis. The deadline for submissions is November 25, 2024.

CATEGORIES

  • Clinical epidemiology – MASH/liver fibrosis 
  • Diagnostic procedures - MASH/liver fibrosis
  • Therapeutic trials - MASH/liver fibrosis – Humans
  • Clinical trial design
  • Disease management of MASH/liver fibrosis patients (including comorbidities)
  • Pharmacoeconomic/societal aspects
  • Experimental/basic science, NAFLD/MASH, non-humans
  • Experimental/basic science, liver fibrosis, non-humans
  • Pathogenesis, translational science, NAFLD/MASH, liver fibrosis, humans
  • Pharmacology

General Guidelines:

Abstracts must include the following sections:

Background Information/Purpose:

A brief introduction to the research problem.

Highlight the significance of the research. Define the study's objectives and include a concise statement of the hypothesis being tested.

Methods:

Outline the study design, detailing the procedures, responsible parties, location, and data collection methods.

Results:

Present the key discoveries in quantitative terms, emphasizing the significance of the findings.

Conclusions:

Summarize the outcomes, supported by your data, discussing their implications and potential improvements. Address whether this work contributes to a larger research strategy and suggest areas for future exploration.

Additional Requirements:

Abstracts must be no more than 2,500 characters (including spaces), excluding the title and excluding the name(s) and institutes/companies of the authors and co-authors.

Abstract Submission:

Abstracts must be submitted electronically through the online abstract submission site.

These must be uploaded as a Word document. Please select one of the categories provided. The deadline to submit is November 25, 2024.

Review:

After the submission period for abstracts closes, the review committee will evaluate each entry. By Monday, December 23, 2024, authors will be informed of their abstract's status. Detailed instructions and information about the poster presentation will follow via email.
